So i may have found the secret spot :p In level 2 right after the Four mobs which are getting out from the wreck you got a field of something which looks like trees. see the screenshot bellow to see where the character must go to make the squadron appear dunno exactly how ( if all trees must be destroyed or not if there is some time or score requirement) I noticed that when you got 10 bombs in the inventory a mystery spaceship crosses the screen draging 5k pts item no screenies sorry http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x125/AURA06700/SquadSpot.jpg
